Wow! I am finally starting my own blog. It just seems that I should write something totally profound or creative. Sometimes being the mom of four busy boys just saps the creativity right out of a person! There are visions I have of the happy family happily going to church. REALITY...David is screaming because he wants his shoes on, Timmy isn't looking for his shoes, I can't find Timmy's shoes. The older boys aren't helping, Jonathan is not getting over to church to acolyte.
"Be still and know that I am God." I try to deep breathe as I sit in the pew, so I can let God service me today. Thankfully we have communion today, too, so I can "taste and see that the Lord is good." My spirit within is fed with the very body and blood of my Lord, Jesus Christ. Now I can rest in peace.
The day will go on, there will be more chaos, but I know I am loved by a gracious God.
